Impact of Crop Rotation and Soil Tillage on the Severity of Winter Wheat Leaf Blotches

Abstract Reduced tillage is considered as one of the main tools to save biological diversity; however, it increases pressure diseases, including wheat leaf blotches. The aim present study was clarify impact reduced soil on development winter blotches in different schemes crop rotation. growing technologies severity disease evaluated a two-factorial experiment: A – system, and B combinations pre-pre-crop pre-crop (wheat, oilseed rape, barley faba beans). Diseases were assessed every 10 days approximately total diseases by calculating AUDPC (Area under Progress Curve). Development Septoria blotch not influenced neither rotation nor tillage. level tan spot essentially higher after wheat, pre-pre-crop. promoted spot. Ploughing mitigated effect previous crops differences insignificant. Despite many positive effects conservation tillage, increasing fungicide treatment could be necessary, conditions, when most devastating widespread disease.
